The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Annual Impact Awards

May 31, 2012

DMB Associates was honored to stand with the Impact Award winners at the award ceremony hosted by the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. Companies from around the Valley were celebrated for their response to adversity, their unique approach to business and for working to build the State’s economic base. In the large business category, Mayo Clinic was also selected as the winner in the Economic Driver category, and DMB was chosen as the winner in the small business category.

For our company, economic development and business attraction are an integral part of how we approach building community. DMB does more than build remarkable hard and soft infrastructure in communities, we actively pursue companies to locate in our communities, provide services, and create jobs. At our core, we understand that quality jobs add to the larger economy. Living close to where you live, allows families to actively enjoy their communities, and invest back in their communities. This cycle of job growth creates stronger, more sustainable communities in the long run.

We were fortunate to be in the company of some of our community and service partners in this awards program. Trident Security provides services for our planned communities and Hospice of the Valley has long been a favorite nonprofit of our company and its founders. The event highlighted how interconnected this Valley is and how we enhance our relationships and our businesses through organizations like the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. We are grateful for the honor of Small Business Economic Driver, and we look forward to new partnerships and friendships with the other honorees.
