Great news – Market Street at DC Ranch now has a new Safeway/Fleming’s monument sign on Pima Road just south of Thompson Peak Parkway! The sign is the first step in DMB Commercial’s efforts to enhance overall visibility and improved accessibility of Market Street. A revised, strategic merchandising plan was created last year and is currently being implemented. Additional branding and graphic improvements are in the works to enhance the overall Market Street experience. Office space is approaching 100% leased and the primary focus now is on retail.
When Market Street was originally planned in 1999, DC Ranch was just getting established as a community and there was concern that prominent retail signage would diminish the DC Ranch brand. Signage was very limited, which ultimately made marketing and visibility challenging. This issue was consistently raised by Market Street tenants as a deficiency that needed to be addressed. We now know that Market Street features great brands which complement the DC Ranch brand and community and should also be celebrated and showcased.
The new monument sign directly highlights Safeway and Fleming’s, Market Street’s two longest standing retail anchor tenants, providing them with prominence in the market place. This coincides perfectly for Fleming’s, who recently renewed their lease at Market Street for another five years. The sign is a perfect location identifier and will promote every tenant’s presence as well as the property as a whole. DMB Commercial is committed and taking the necessary steps to make Market Street a success and remain north Scottsdale’s premier dining and social district.
