The Verrado community is committed to education and is fast becoming a highly sought after destination for top-rated schools in the West Valley. Recently ranked as one of only 15 schools in Arizona by the Washington Post on the prestigious 2012 Challenge Index list, Verrado High School’s achievement further exemplifies how Verrado High School students are being made college and career ready. This year alone, Verrado High School students received more than $7.6 million in college scholarships.
According to the State of Arizona, Verrado Middle School and Verrado Elementary School have been designated as “A” schools. To achieve educational excellence, Verrado Elementary School offers signature programs such as the Math Achievement Club of Rodel (MACRo) program for 2nd and 3rd graders. It has resulted in VES students achieving among the highest 3rd grade math scores in the entire West Valley. Just this year, 89% of VES 3rd graders met or exceeded the state standard in math with an impressive 47% exceeding.
This year, the Goddard School is celebrating its third year at Verrado. This year round private preschool, Kindergarten and child care facility offers exceptional teachers and curriculum within a nurturing environment for children between six weeks and six years of age. Flexible after-school enrichment and summer programs are available for children up to ten years of age.
