Jaime Lyn Gonzales has been with DMB’s Verrado community for almost 11 years and recently began working in Marley Park too. As Community Engagement Manager, she and her team collaborate with residents and partners to create a robust and active community lifestyle. This includes meaningful experiences that build strong connections and create shared traditions. It’s a lifestyle that’s unique to DMB and sets our communities apart.
Jaime describes her work as incredibly rewarding. She notes the stories from residents whose lives have been impacted significantly from living in a DMB community. She also describes the generosity and care of DMB communities. As an example, Verrado and Marley Park residents have collected school supplies for local students, packed hundreds of thousands of meals for children around the world, delivered truckloads of Christmas gifts, provided clean water and hygiene training to international villages, served hundreds of hot meals, identified safe haven to dozens of stray animals, and donated incredible amounts of life-saving blood.
A new mom to a beautiful baby boy, and married to her name-twin, Jaime, her family lives in Marley Park. Jaime’s life has always been tied to community service and leadership. She has worked and studied in the for-profit and non-profit sectors, from banking and international business to local and international non-profits seeking social justice and human rights. Her passion is connecting people and resources to one another to solve a common goal and create greater value.
She has served in leadership roles for a number of local and global organizations working to improve quality of life. She currently serves on ASU’s Technology Entrepreneurship & Management Advisory Board, the Buckeye Valley Chamber of Commerce board, and as advisor for Parties for Purpose. She is also a member of the Arizona Town Hall and a recent graduate of Leadership West. Her focus on elevating the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders has achieved award-winning recognition for projects like Igniting Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs, GenerationNext/AZ and MicroEd.
Jaime relishes working for DMB because it is a company that supports community service, intentionally blurring the lines of live, work and play which are not mutually exclusive experiences.
