Created in 2004, DMB Commercial specializes in developing unique, mixed use commercial projects. Strategically planned developments combine a mix of retail, dining, residential, hospitality and office space that embrace community gathering areas and natural surroundings. Current DMB Commercial projects include Canyon Village, Centerpoint on Mill, DC Ranch Crossing, Market Street at DC Ranch, Main Street at Verrado and One Scottsdale.
Canyon Village, a mixed-use development within DC Ranch in north Scottsdale that is made up of four distinct buildings, spans 4.5 acres and includes approximately 100,000 square-feet of office, retail and restaurant space. The formal Mediterranean architecture, takes full advantage of the project’s desert surroundings. Innovative, fresh and contemporary, Canyon Village will feature an appealing atmosphere with lush courtyards and fountains that contributes to the gathering spaces available to office and retail tenants.
In keeping with DMB's approach to create legacy projects, DMB plans to modify the existing entitlements for our 24-acre mixed-use project, Centerpoint on Mill in Tempe. Proposed changes will create a vibrant, mixed-use urban environment featuring residential, retail, entertainment, hospitality and office uses. Centerpoint on Mill was one of DMB’s first commercial projects and involved the re-development of the property in partnership with the City of Tempe. We expect our legacy and stewardship with the community of Tempe to continue as we move forward through the planning and redevelopment process. We are excited about being a part of the next generation of urban revitalization efforts under way on Mill Ave.
DC Ranch Crossing, a 27-acre mixed-use neighborhood center, at the southeast corner of Pima Road & Union Hills Drive in north Scottsdale, at the gateway to the DC Ranch community. DC Ranch Crossing will include residential, retail and hospitality uses. AJ’s Fine Foods will anchor this casual neighborhood center with restaurants and convenience retail providing a family oriented locale.
The development of the Offices on Main Street at Verrado is a natural step in the evolution of Verrado, a community in Buckeye, Arizona, featuring diversity, forward-living architecture and homes with authentic styles based on the heritage of residential design in the Western United States. Totaling approximately 32,000 square feet of space in two buildings, the function and design of the office buildings take their cue from the surrounding architecture that reflects the small town charm that is part of Main Street at Verrado.
Market Street at DC Ranch is a 30-acre, upscale-mixed use neighborhood center located at the geographic center of Scottsdale, Arizona and at the doorstep of DC Ranch. Market Street is north Scottsdale’s premier social district offering a unique mix of dining, shopping and entertainment experiences.
One Scottsdale is entitled for up to 1.8 million square feet of retail, dining and Class A office space and will serve as the premier shopping, fine dining and travel destination in the western United States. With One Scottsdale, DMB has formed a strategic alliance with Macerich, a company known for their retail development, leasing and operations expertise. This partnership is the perfect alignment of core values, geographic priorities and complementary business expertise between two companies with a vested interest in Arizona and how it grows. DMB’s and Macerich’s collaboration on One Scottsdale will play a role in developing a true point of arrival for the intersection of Scottsdale Road and Loop 101. DMB will continue to lead the luxury residential, office and hospitality elements, and Macerich will assume responsibility for the development, leasing and operations of the retail component. One Scottsdale will be the home to Dial Corporation’s Headquarters and Research Center, which is currently scheduled for completion later this year.
